Zupee announced a key user milestone in Rajasthan, registering 10 million users and more than 1.2 billion gameplays. Jaipur alone has clocked nearly a billion gameplays, reflecting the state’s deep engagement with culturally rooted games that have been reimagined for the mobile-first generation.

Zupee pioneered the skill-based casual gaming category in India and Rajasthan is now emerging as a key contributor to this category, resounding the state is not just a user playground, it is a category-shaper in the online skill gaming space.

Over the past year, the platform has witnessed steady organic growth across the Tier 1, 2 and 3 cites, fueled by culturally rooted gameplay, a secure and transparent user experience with its deep commitment to responsible gaming and skill-based entertainment. This inclusive approach is not only expanding reach but also reshaping who plays and how. Furthermore, from 2024, till date the userbase grew by over 15%, highlighting the popularity of culturally relevant games like Ludo, now reimagined as skill-based digital formats.

Zupee Ludo’s growing adoption reflects a broader shift in Bharat’s entertainment preferences, as users increasingly gravitate towards shorter, quicker skill-based formats with transparent and fair play mechanics. This momentum has been marked by a significant rise in inclusivity, with the platform witnessing a 60% year-on-year growth in female users in the state. Today, the platform is steadily moving closer to an equal gender ratio among players, reflecting a growing community of diverse, digital-first gamers.

Commenting on the milestone, Mr. Govind Mittal, Chief Spokesperson said, “Rajasthan’s adoption of Zupee Ludo is a testament to the trust we have built for digital Bharat; for users who seek games that are both fun and fair. We at Zupee have invested in building formats that are easy to adopt, deeply familiar and designed to promote skill and fair play. As we continue to lead the skill-based gaming category, our focus remains on delivering meaningful, transparent and responsible entertainment rooted in Indian culture.”

India’s Game. Reimagined for the Digital Bharat.

Zupee Ludo has transformed one of India’s most loved board games into a heightened skill-based gaming experience. With over 150 million registered users and more than 12.5 billion gameplays, Zupee didn’t just join the skill gaming category – it built it, scaled it and now leads it.

The brand introduced first-ever skill-based Ludo formats in India, including Ludo Supreme, Ludo Turbo and Ludo Supreme League – driving both scale and distinction. The formats offer quicker, faster gameplay (under 10 minutes) to suit mobile-first Indian audiences. Breaking traditional Ludo dependency on luck and reinforcing the skill element, Zupee introduced Dice-less mode and move-based scoring.

Real Bharat leads skill-based gaming

Zupee Ludo’s sustained adoption across Rajasthan particularly in cities like Jaipur, signals a deeper shift in India’s gaming ecosystem, where success is measured with user engagement and retention over just downloads.

As Bharat increasingly goes digital, Zupee is building games that are easy to play, culturally relevant and widely inclusive, unlocking the true potential of India’s gaming ecosystem. The state’s engagement is also a validation of Zupee Ludo’s format that is built on fair play, skill-based competition and user-centric interface.
