Christmas has come early to the fantasy MMO RuneScape, with the launch of Christmas Village, a new area located in the Land of Snow which offers festive fun, adventure and cheer.

Players will join Santa and his trusty snow imps in special seasonal activities such as Fairy Light Fishing, creating Christmas Decorations and catching snow imps to earn Christmas Spirit which can be spent on new and classic holiday rewards. Players will be able to earn a variety of rewards throughout the holiday season including the Peppermint outfit, Purple Santa Hat and the new tradeable rare, the Black Party Hat.

Players will also be tasked to bring festive cheer to the whole of Gielinor by helping Santa in Its Snow Bother, the new traditional seasonal quest for RuneScape. Players will need to seek out iconic characters throughout the world in order to deliver presents and give the locations of Lumbridge, Falador and Varrock a dose of holiday cheer with a festive makeover.

The Christmas Village is live in RuneScape now and will be available until 4 January 2024 with Santa’s Lodge first opening on Sunday 3 December. Players can access the Land of Snow via the Holiday Portals at the Grand Exchange or Burthorpe or via the Lodestone Network. For more information on this update, please visit the RuneScape website.

RuneScape is available now on PC, Steam, iOS, and Android, complete with cross-platform progression and play on PC and mobile.
