Billie Eilish is bridging the gap between cinema and gaming with a groundbreaking immersive activation on Roblox, celebrating her upcoming 3D documentary film, HIT ME HARD AND SOFT: THE TOUR, co-directed by legendary filmmaker James Cameron.
Starting Tuesday 5th May at 7:30AM IST, Roblox’s "The Block" - the platform’s immersive, always-on music and entertainment venue - will undergo a complete visual overhaul to mirror Billie’s concert stage, allowing fans to roleplay as the icon herself. Then, from Thursday 7th May at 7:00AM IST until Sunday 10th May, “The Block” will feature an exclusive broadcast of her "BIRDS OF A FEATHER" performance from the film - the first time fans will be able to see it - and the film’s trailer.
To mirror the 3D nature of the theatrical release, the experience will feature advanced environmental effects like immersive stage lighting and 3D visuals - as well as an appearance from Billie’s avatar - creating a truly interactive viewing environment.
Beyond the performance, from 5th May onwards there will be limited edition Billie-inspired items available on Roblox’s Marketplace, including an exclusive tour-inspired animation pack and a Billie avatar. Fans can also take the mic with integrated karaoke features, including tracks like “Ocean Eyes” and “when the party’s over”, making this the ultimate digital destination for Billie Eilish fans.
