The dice are rolling Independent studios eSolu and Team Mojo Games announced that a free playable demo for Odds Chronicles is now available on Steam for PC, giving players their first hands-on experience with the tactical roguelite RPG.
The Odds Chronicles demo offers between two and four hours of gameplay, depending on player skill and choices, with strong replayability for those eager to explore different abilities, dice combinations, and tactical approaches.
Players step into the role of Evryn, a fallen royal bodyguard trapped in the mysterious Tavern outside of Time, and venture back into a land shaped by memory, chance, and consequence. The demo introduces the gameβs story, grid-based and dice-driven combat, where positioning, line of sight, and smart resource management are just as important as the roll itself.
Each run is tracked through an Adventure Journal available in the Tavern hub. This journal records scores and detailed run information, allowing players to compare past attempts, analyze their choices, and experiment with new strategies on future runs.
The demo culminates in a challenging boss encounter designed to put playersβ tactical planning and strategic decision-making to the test. This final battle brings together the demoβs core systems (dice management, positioning, ability synergies, and risk-taking) into a decisive confrontation. Players are invited to sharpen their strategy, embrace the odds, and see if they can defeat the boss before the run comes to an end.
With its mix of tactical combat, roguelite progression, and tabletop-inspired presentation, the demo offers a representative slice of the full game planned for its 2026 PC release, with versions for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X|S arriving later.
